These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by La Familia Holidays ("we", "us", "our") and your use of those services. By requesting a quote, making a booking, or otherwise engaging us, you ("the traveller" or "client") accept these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party.
1. Scope of Services
We provide travel-related services including air tickets (domestic and international), hotel bookings, holiday packages (inbound and outbound), travel insurance, group bookings, cab and bus bookings, tourist visa assistance, and sea cruises. We arrange these services through third-party suppliers and act as a facilitator between you and those suppliers.
2. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed advance or full payment and our written confirmation. Payment schedules, advance amounts, and final-balance due dates will be communicated at the time of booking and must be met to avoid automatic cancellation by the supplier. All payments should be made through the channels we specify; we are not responsible for payments made to any unauthorised account or individual.
3. Pricing & Quote Validity
All quotes are estimates based on prices, taxes, and exchange rates current at the time of issue and remain valid only for the period stated (typically a few days, or until prices change, whichever is earlier). Prices for flights, hotels, and other services are not guaranteed until ticketed or confirmed and paid. We reserve the right to revise a quote if supplier rates, taxes, fuel surcharges, government levies, or currency rates change before confirmation.
4. Traveller Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you and your party are fit to travel and hold all required documentation. In particular, you must ensure that you have:
- A valid passport (generally with at least six months' validity beyond your return date) and any required machine-readable or biometric features.
- Correct and valid visas, permits, and entry approvals for every country on your itinerary, including transit points.
- Required vaccinations and health certificates and compliance with destination entry rules.
- Accurate traveller details (names exactly as per passport, dates of birth) provided to us at the time of booking.
We may assist with visa applications, but the grant of a visa is entirely at the discretion of the relevant authority. We are not liable for denied boarding, entry refusal, or losses arising from incorrect, incomplete, or expired documentation.
5. Liability, We Act as an Intermediary
La Familia Holidays acts solely as an agent and intermediary for airlines, hotels, transport operators, visa authorities, insurers, and other independent suppliers. The services you book are delivered by these suppliers and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Accordingly, we are not liable for any act, default, delay, cancellation, overbooking, injury, loss, or damage caused by a supplier or by events beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability, where established, shall not exceed the value of our service charge for the booking concerned.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage, and personal liability. We can arrange travel insurance on request. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance, you do so at your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for any resulting loss.
7. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Amendments, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and by the terms of the relevant suppliers. Please review that policy before confirming your booking.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with your booking or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
